No legacy downloads available.

CalMAN Client3 for Mac
Version: 3.1.1
Build: 117
Size: 71.9 MB

This Mac version of Client3 is a major rewrite. Because of this, previous Mac calibrations will need to be performed again when this new version of Client3 is installed. We recommend removing your current version of Client3 for Mac before installing this new version.

When first connected to CalMAN, Client3 for Mac will not see the previous version’s licensing and will need to be authorized again. However, the CalMAN install which initially licensed that machine will recognize the original Client3 authorization and you can reauthorize it without using an additional Client3 license unlock.

Installation Notes:

  • CalMAN’s license manager has been enhanced to improve its security and convenience.
  • Existing licenses are automatically upgraded to the new license scheme the first time you launch CalMAN 2016 Version 2.
  • New license portal allows you to see and manage your customer account and your licenses.

New Features:

  • New entries and new names for entries in the SpectraCal C6 (and C6 HDR2000) Meter Mode (Target Display Type) drop-down.
  • The UI has been updated to more closely match the Windows version of Client 3, making the two versions more consistent.

Issues Resolved:

  • Resolved the issue which would cause Client3 for Mac to recognize multiple monitors of the same make\model as the same monitor.
  • Resolved the issue which would cause Client3 for Mac to either not work properly or to crash when OS X is set to a language other than English.
  • Resolved an issue flagging ICC profiles.
  • Resolved an issue with Monitor Detection in cases where two monitors have identical EDIDs.
  • Client3 for Mac profiles are no longer user-specific. Profiles are now shared with all users on the system.
  • When a Mac monitor profile is first created, it will show up in OS X Color Management as ‘Basic sRGB profile.” When that profile is calibrated, the name will be changed to match the profile name in Client3. If the profile name is then changed in Client3, the name will not be updated in OS X until the next time that profile is calibrated.
  • Added Monitor DDC support. DDC support is disabled by default in Client3 for Mac, as with the Windows version, and must be enabled in Client3 Preferences before software adjustment of monitor controls is possible in CalMAN.

Please Note – Note – DDC information and control settings cannot be saved in the ICC profile. Client3 must be running when you manage your profiles for the monitor control settings to be updated by Client3 when switching profiles.

CalMAN Client3 3.0208

Resolved Issues:

  • Resolved an issue where client licenses or client license packs were not being applied correctly.
