Application Tuning
With Display Tune's Application Tuning plug-in, the user can adjust the display to the preferred settings for the application, save the settings to a preset, and automatically have the adjustments applied whenever the application is launched. This allows for display settings to be controlled by the content. No need to open the OSD and push buttons to dial in the best settings for the display. With Application Tuning, all the work is done in software to allow the best viewing experience. For DVD or video playback, the user may want highly saturated colors, for text based applications such as Word or Excel a high contrast low brightness setting is desirable, and for web browsing sRGB is the color setting of choice. Application Tuning allows individual settings to be applied to each application upon launch so the content is viewed the way the user expects.
