What does that mean? Visual calibration means that you calibrate the screen, not in the factory environment or the computer store environment, but in the environment where you will be using the display. Does your display sit close to a window or under bright fluorescent lights? The lighting in the room where you work can alter the way the colors look on the screen. For example, the color characteristics of the light during the day can be very different from the color characteristics, in that same room, during the night.
