Portrait Displays and AOC China Announce Strategic Partnership Design Win of the FreeControl™ OSD Software Solution for AOC Displays
Pleasanton, California, USA — Portrait Displays, Inc., a global leader in visual enhancement software solutions for computer displays, today extended its Display Tune® On-Screen-Display (OSD) software technology into China with the release of FreeControl for new LCD models from AOC China.
Using the latest Display Tune OSD technology, FreeControl allows end users to adjust their display settings such as brightness, contrast, and image positioning on the fly with an easy-to-use software interface. By eliminating cumbersome hardware OSD buttons, this versatile software control expands the scope of display tuning and allows customization with individual user profiles.
FreeControl expands the FreeView™ suite of value-enhanced AOC products, including FreeBright™, FreeColor™, FreeSpeed™, FreeSaving™, and FreeTransform™ technologies.
AOC is pleased to announce the latest value-product offering is the new LCD, model 154F. Free Control, developed in partnership with Portrait Displays’ core engine, also known as Display Tune, is a paradigm shift for the way the user interacts with the display. Never before have users had the power to customize the display characteristics with the click of a mouse.
