Portrait Displays and Hyundai ImageQuest Announce ImageTune™ On-Screen Display (OSD) Software for New LCD Models<
Hyundai ImageQuest Becomes First Display Manufacturer to Introduce Portrait Displays’ Theft Deterrence Feature
Pleasanton, California, USA — Portrait Displays, Inc., a global leader in visual enhancement software products for computer displays, today announced its Display Tune® on-screen display (OSD) software technology will be a standard feature on select new LCD models from Hyundai ImageQuest Co., LTD.
Using the latest Display Tune OSD technology, ImageTune allows end users to adjust their display settings, such as brightness, contrast, color calibration, and image positioning, with an easy-to-use software interface. By eliminating cumbersome hardware OSD buttons, this versatile software control expands the scope of display tuning and allows customization to each individual user profile.
ImageTune is being introduced on full-featured Hyundai ImageQuest products, including the Q19, Q17D, L73DL, and L90DL displays. ImageTune, developed in partnership with Portrait Displays’ core engine, also known as Display Tune, is a paradigm shift for the way the users interact with their display. For the first time, users have the power to customize the display characteristics at the click of a mouse.
Additionally, Hyundai ImageQuest has introduced the first displays in the world to incorporate Portrait Displays’ Display Tune Theft Deterrence software protection (patent pending). Theft Deterrence is a software-based solution that is more foolproof and less obtrusive to users than traditional hardware locks and cables.
