Pivot® Software Selected for New V7 24-inch Widescreen LCD Rotational Display
Pleasanton, California, USA — Portrait Displays, Inc., a global leader in visual enhancement software solutions for computer display applications, today announced that it’s proprietary Pivot software technology is featured on V7’s flagship D24W33 24-inch widescreen LCD display.
Pivot software will allow on-the-fly 90-degree landscape-to-portrait viewing along with the world’s broadest compatibility of legacy and current operating systems and graphics chip sets. V7 is the exclusive house brand for Ingram Micro Inc., (NYSE: IM) and maker of world class IT and consumer electronics global solutions.
Pivot software is a paradigm shift for the way users interact with their display. The V7 D24W33 LCD monitor combines a rotational hinge design with Portrait Displays’ Pivot software to greatly enhance productivity. The Pivot functionality allows users to adjust the V7 display, offering more flexibility to type e-mail, surf the web, and run any application in either portrait or landscape view.
