Portrait Displays Launches Display Control Software for Notebooks/Netbooks
Introducing DT Duo—Seamless Control of Notebooks/Netbooks Connected to any External Display Devices
Pleasanton, California, USA — Portrait Displays, Inc., a global leader in visual enhancement software solutions for computer display applications, broadens its product offering by announcing DT Duo™–a software utility that adds increased functionality to any notebook/netbook for management of both the internal display and any attached external display device.
DT Duo allows quick configuration of a projector, computer display, or TV through a centralized cockpit. There is no longer a need to use multiple control panel devices to enable and use the display.
DT Duo maintains a database of all previously connected configurations, as well as a simple way to save any configuration as a profile for future use.
In addition, DT Duo can control display adjustments, such as Brightness, Contrast, and White Point, on both the internal and external displays. The control is managed through Portrait Displays’ proprietary C2L (Cascading Communication Logic) for optimal picture quality. C2L checks a variety of communication methods to determine the best way to control display adjustments, either through DDC/CI or GDI. All controls for adjustments and setting the primary/secondary/extended/clone modes reside within the application.
DT Duo is engineered to simplify the laptop-to-presentation-device setup process.
