Conformance Partner Program - Overview

Portrait Displays' Conformance Partner Program (PDCPP) is a collaborative effort with leading display controller and LCD hardware vendors to establish, promote and advance display technology standards. These include standards developed by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), where Portrait Displays is an active member, to proprietary standards developed by Portrait Displays in conjunction with select partners.

PDCPP is currently providing next generation On Screen Display (OSD), color calibration, asset management and theft deterrence technologies for LCDs. Qualified partners are eligible to receive Portrait Displays' Display Tune® Toolbox, a powerful software utility that allows vendors to test and develop for Portrait Displays' Monitor Hardware Reference Specification (MHRS), a universal set of commands selected from the VESA Monitor Control Command Set (MCCS) 2.0 standard. Hardware based on Display Tune architecture enables bi-directional I2C communication protocols between the host graphics controller and LCD to provide the most powerful display management features available for LCDs.
