After successfully launching FireOS based Calman Ready TVs back in 2025, Panasonic and Portrait Displays will continue Calman’s renowned auto-calibration features within the 2026 US line-up.
Calman Ready: Fast and Easy Auto-Calibrations
Panasonic TV’s 2026 portfolio, brought to the US market by authorized business partner SKYWORTH USA, introduced a broad range of OLED, QD-Mini LED, and QLED displays. With Calman Ready support, select models of this new lineup provide a direct communication between the TV and Portrait Displays’ Calman® color calibration software, resulting in more efficient and simplified hardware calibrations both for studio and residential viewing environments.
Powered by Calman’s AutoCal technology and advanced AURORA COLOR ENGINE® color calibration algorithms, display calibration of Calman Ready TVs is highly automated and delivers consistent, accurate results with minimal user interaction based on latest color science standards. The result: a streamlined workflow that makes professional-grade color accuracy more accessible to both industry professionals and consumers alike.
Like Day and Night: Calman Calibrated Mode
Panasonic TV’s flagship models with Calman Ready integration feature Calman Calibrated Mode, allowing users to switch between professionally calibrated picture modes for SDR day and night viewing, HDR playback, including Dolby Vision, and games. Unlike pre-calibrated picture modes from the factory, Calman Calibrated Modes only become active once the TV is connected to Calman software for advanced color calibration. Once the calibrations are finished, Calman Calibration Modes appear in the OSD menu and can be set as the default viewing modes.
