Connecting Calman to Patterns for Mac

When using Calman to calibrate a separate Mac computer, Calman can connect to Patterns™ in two modes:

  • Using Patterns™ as a test pattern source.
  • Using Patterns™ as a display device for ICC profile generation

To connect Calman to use Patterns™ as a test pattern source:

  1. On the Calman Source Settings tab, click the Find Source button.
  2. On the popup Find Source dialog, under Manufacturer, select Portrait Displays Under Model, select Patterns
  3. In the IP Address of the Mac running Patterns™
    • At launch, Patterns™ provides a list of available IP Addresses. If this window has been closed, go to the Patterns™ menu and select Show IP.
  4. Click Connect.

To connect Calman to use Patterns™ for display control:

  1. On the Calman Display Control tab, click the Find Display button.
  2. On the popup Find Display dialog, under Manufacturer, select Portrait Displays Under Model, select Patterns
  3. In the IP Address of the Mac running Patterns™
    • At launch, Patterns™ provides a list of available IP Addresses. If this window has been closed, go to the Patterns™ menu and select Show IP.
  4. Click Connect.
