Meter Positioning

Flat Panels and Rear Projectors

The C6 HDR5000 should be positioned with the face of the meter completely flush and in contact with the center of a flat panel or rear projector screen, in this position, the foam padding will block ambient light leakage. The cable counterweight can be slid up and down the cable and draped over the top of the display to assist with this.

Front Projectors

The C6 HDR5000 has a tripod mount for use in non-contact mode, to measure front projector screens. Place the meter about three feet (1 meter) back from the screen. And, in a position where the measurements will not be obscured by the meter’s shadow.
